The Jordan Food and Drug Administration facilitated the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, represented by its President Mr. Tareq Darwazah, and the Applied Science Private University, represented by its President Dr. Sumayya Jarrah.
This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the pharmaceutical sector and the university, focusing on student training and preparing them to meet the job market needs of Jordanian pharmaceutical companies, as well as engaging in joint research efforts.
The agreement will support the goals of the Economic Modernization Vision by creating job opportunities and connecting academia with the private sector.
The memorandum was signed in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nizar Mheidat, General Director of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Haitham Abu Khadija, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Applied Science Private University, Dr. Hanan Sboul, Secretary General of the Association, and board members Dr. Khaled Harb and Dr. Abdul Moneim Al-Ali, along with Dr. Samar Dhiyab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university.
