Dr. Hanan Sboul, Secretary General of the Jordanian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, has made history as the first woman and first non-American elected president of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). Her five-year term began following a global conference in the U.S. attended by over 400 members from 42 countries.

Founded in 1820, the USP sets pharmaceutical standards in the U.S. and serves as a global reference used in over 150 countries to ensure medicine quality and safety. Dr Hanan election highlights the international recognition of her expertise and marks a proud milestone for Jordan and the Arab pharmaceutical sector.
