252 new COVID-19 cases in Jordan, 248 local cases

A total of 252 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Sunday, 248 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 3,314.

The increase in the number of cases is due to large gatherings, including weddings and funerals, and lack of compliance with health and safety measures.

Two new COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Jordan on Sunday — in Prince Hamzah Hospital and Jordan University Hospital.

A total of 50 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Sunday.
